John Kinder (clergyman)

John Kinder (17 September 1819 – 5 September 1903) was a New Zealand Anglican clergyman, teacher, artist and photographer.
Kinder was born in London, England on 17 September 1819, the oldest surviving child of a wealthy merchant and his second wife.
HIs works as an artist and photographer have only been exhibited on a few occasions.〔Auckland Art Gallery: (Kinder's Presence )〕
Kinder died on 5 September 1903, aged 83, in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand.
